Forbidden City Scavenger Hunt - 600th Anniversary Edition

In the year 1420 the Imperial Palace the Forbidden City in Beijing was completed. That makes this year the 600th year anniversary, but it is close to a miracle that the Palace is still standing today!

What was it like working in the Palace? How did the Ming and Qing dynasties rule differently? Why is the most precious treasure no longer in the Palace? How did the emperors communicate with the world outside?  And last but not least how has the imperial way of ruling affected the mindset of modern Chinese society today?

You will have to find the answers, and along the way we will also challenge your abilities as a eunuch, an imperial courier, an official, a Palace maid and a Manchu warrior.

This mission if you choose to accept it is also good for families as we have a special set of challenges for children aged 6 to 12!

Where: Donghuamen, Outside of TRB Forbidden City (东华门大街20号)

Cost: 380RMB/person; 220RMB/child
